And there are reasons for tears. Lots of reasons. Lots of tears, therefore. There shall always be, so long as there is time.
Which is also to say, until time stands still.
Then, it’s been and will be called “doomsday”. But only for the bad guys.
For those who learned humbly instead to love the perennial ‘lost cause’ each has suffered until their own bitter end, it will be the time to rejoice in Another’s victory, the conclusive one: the consummating one: to adore the glory of the One Who Comes in Power and Victory over the rebellious forces of the world at last.
