The Director of the Holy See Press Office Matteo Bruni has today announced that, "On Friday 25 March, during the Celebration of Penance at which he will preside at 17.00 in Saint Peter's Basilica, Pope Francis will consecrate Russia and Ukraine to the Immaculate Heart of Mary. The same act, on the same day, will be carried out in Fatima by His Eminence Cardinal Krajewski, Apostolic Almoner, as envoy of the Holy Father.". https://press.vatican.va/content/salastampa/it/bollettino/pubblico/2022/03/15/0177/00384.html#ing The declaration of the Holy See is of great importance. We appeal to all the bishops of the world to join Pope Francis that same day, fulfilling the request of Our Lady of Fatima who on 13 July 1917 asked for the consecration of Russia to Her Immaculate Heart and on 13 June 1929 communicated to Sister Lucia, in the monastery at Tuy, the request that this consecration be made "in union with all the bishops of the world". We do not know if this consecration will remove the threat of war, famine, and persecution of the Church and of the Holy Father that Our Lady foresaw at Fatima if the world had not converted, but certainly the act announced by the Holy See is destined to bring great graces to Russia, Ukraine and the whole world. From this moment we gather in prayer, spreading the extraordinary news. (Roberto de Mattei - Lepanto Foundation, Rome) - trans. G. P. Lloyd, 15 Mar 2022 A.D.
